The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the host The Colony Cougars to 64 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paschal for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 11.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Frisco, TX). The Knights enter the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 0-4 record.
