Clear Springs Chargers (League City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clear Springs upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Klein Collins (Spring, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Klein Collins won 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Terrell (Terrell, TX).
