Liberty Hurricanes (Bethlehem, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), 59-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Parkland (Allentown, PA) to play the Trojans in a Lehigh Valley bout on Wednesday, January 14. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Parkland won 63-54 in their recent league bout against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA) in a Lehigh Valley bout, on Friday, January 16. Allentown Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Konkrete Kids come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-49 league loss to Freedom (Bethlehem, PA).
