The Wolves now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mater Dei for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 10. King will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 86-19 non-league win over Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-0.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Rancho Verde was nudged by Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA), 86-19, in a non-league battle.
Fourth Quarter
This game was close throughout. With 47 seconds left, King went up by one, but Alemany answered with a back door cut and layup to lead 49-48. King called time out with 10 seconds left, but a broken play resulted in a kickout pass to freshman guard Jade Bowie at the top of the key. She launched a high arching 3 point shot, the buzzer went off, and the ball dropped through the hoop for a 2 point victory.
