The Anson Bearcats volleyball team (Wadesboro, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC)

The Ragin' Bulls (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The go into the South Piedmont bout with a 2-5 record.

The Bearcats now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Montgomery for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 1. Anson will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 16-1.
