The Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) basketball crushed the host Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), 69-31 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles go into the I Section I test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Ironwood walloped Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ), 64-44, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 9-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marcos de Niza for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Central will clash with a Padres squad coming off a 64-55 league loss to Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 14-11.
