Massachusetts High School Basketball - Phillips Academy beaten by Brooks
February 18, 2010: North Andover, MA 01845 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Brooks basketball team scored a good 73-65 triumph over the Phillips Academy Big Blues.
In their next game, the face the Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) in a Independent School match, on Saturday, February 20. Brooks will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-15 record after their 69-66 league loss to Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA).
With the defeat, Phillips Academy moves to 5-9 on the year. The Big blues travel to Brimmer & May (Chestnut Hill, MA) to face the Gators in a NEPSAC Freelance match on Friday, February 19. The Gators enter the match with a record of 18-9. Brimmer & May won 63-49 in their recent non-league match against Tabor Academy (Marion, MA)
