Washington, DC High School Football - Dunbar routed by Friendship Collegiate Academy
September 5, 2014: Washington, DC 20019 In Friday's non-league game, the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) football team smashed the visiting Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD), by a score of 45-8.
The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Wilson (Washington, DC). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Wilson overwhelmed DuVal (Lanham, MD), 28-16, in a non-league game.
The Poets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mergenthaler Vo-Tech for a Baltimore City Division I game on Friday, September 12. Dunbar will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 27-0 league win over Patterson (Baltimore, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
