Tennessee High School Basketball - West Greene ripped by Sycamore
December 29, 2008: Pleasant View, TN 37146 The Sycamore War Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting West Greene Buffaloes to 55 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The War Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cocke County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 30. Sycamore will meet a Fighting Cocks team coming off a 75-53 non-league win over Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 5-3.
The Buffaloes (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN). The Black Knights enter the AA District 1 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Chuckey-Doak was routed by Cocke County (Newport, TN), 75-53, in a non-league contest.
