Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Pinnacle Timberwolves (Federal Heights, CO) and the visiting The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO), saw The Pinnacle's basketball squad overcome The Academy by a tally of 86-68.

With the victory, The Pinnacle improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 29. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Sheridan Rams (Denver, CO) in a 3A Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. The Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 85-48 league loss to Denver Science & Tech Stapleton (Denver, CO).
