October 2, 2009: Stanford, KY 40484 The Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) football nudged the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), 2-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Maroons clash with the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, October 9. Pulaski County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 14-8 league loss to Southwestern (Somerset, KY).
The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Green Waves enter the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Meade County held off North Hardin (Radcliff, KY), 23-21, in a league bout.
