December 16, 2011: Orlando, FL 32789 In Friday's league battle, the host Circle Christian Centurions soccer squad scored a close 3-1 win over the Master's Academy Eagles.
The Centurions (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Conquerors go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole (Sanford, FL). The Seminoles go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record.
Game Summary
Circle Christian took the lead when Sam Trenski played a cross into Jamon Elliot who followed his own shot and finished it. Master's Academy equalized in the 20th minute on a penalty kick. Circle would regain the lead in the 33rd minute as Christian Bores scored from 30 yards out on an open goal. The Centurion defense would hold for remainder of the half and a 2-1 lead. In the second half both defense's would hold until the 19th minute. Circle's Christian Bores scored again assisted by Sam Trenski to extend the lead to 3-1. The Centurion defense held for the rest of the match for the 3-1 victory.
