In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Brackett Tigers basketball team scored a good 34-26 triumph over the Ozona Lions.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Reagan County Owls (Big Lake, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 12. Brackett will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record.

With the defeat, Ozona moves to 3-2 on the year. The Lions host Christoval (Christoval, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, December 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-0.
