Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) and the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS), saw Forest's basketball squad hold off Brandon by a score of 59-54.

With the victory, Forest improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Scott Central (Forest, MS) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 14. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Scott Central lost 53-47 in their recent league challenge against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 14. Brandon will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 80-48 non-league loss to Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS).
