South Dakota High School Basketball - McLaughlin routs Herreid/Selby
December 9, 2011: Herreid, SD 57632 In Friday's non-league outing, the McLaughlin Midgets (McLaughlin, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), by a margin of 69-44.
The Midgets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, St. Francis Indian was crushed by Little Wound (Kyle, SD), 78-57, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Herreid/Selby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Clippers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 55-49 league loss to South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND).
