The Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball nipped the host Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI), 62-55 in Friday's league test.

The Knights (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.

The Bearcats now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 18. Central will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 65-51 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
