The Corsicana Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Mexia Black Cats to 59 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Whitney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 18. Corsicana will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 60-57 non-league win over West (West, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.

The Black Cats (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mabank (Mabank, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Mabank was nudged by Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX), 59-49, in a non-league bout.
