Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lampeter-Strasburg can't hold off Lancaster Catholic
December 12, 2014: Lancaster, PA 17601 The Lancaster Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers to 54 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manheim Central for a non-league contest on Monday, December 15. Lancaster Catholic will play a Barons squad coming off a 69-42 non-league win over Lancaster Mennonite (Lancaster, PA). The Barons record now stands at 4-1.
Next up, the Pioneers play the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen (Annville, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 bout, on Monday, December 15. Lampeter-Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 57-31 non-league loss to Cocalico (Denver, PA).
