Georgia High School Football - South Gwinnett defeats Central Gwinnett

September 17, 2011: Lawrenceville, GA 30045

In Saturday's league match, the visiting South Gwinnett Comets football squad scored a good 63-55 victory over the Central Gwinnett Black Knights.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 test, on Friday, September 23. South Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 30-13 league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA).

With the loss, Central Gwinnett drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Black knights host Brookwood (Snellville, GA) to battle the Broncos in a AAAAA Region 8 test on Friday, September 23. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 2-2. Brookwood won 21-19 in their recent league test against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA)
