West Virginia High School Basketball - Wilson overwhelms Oak Hill
December 28, 2013: Beckley, WV 25801 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) and the visiting Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), saw Wilson's basketball squad wallop Oak Hill by a tally of 63-36.
With the victory, Wilson improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Flying Eagles travel to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 4. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Fayetteville Pirates (Fayetteville, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Oak Hill will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 66-52 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV).
