January 15, 2010: Miami, FL 33169 The Norland Vikings (Miami, FL) basketball nipped the visiting University Suns (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 63-61 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Dr. Phillips got by Ocoee (Ocoee, FL), 80-53, in a league test.
The Suns now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Myers for a non-league test on Saturday, January 16. University will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 72-51 league win over Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL). The Green Wave record now stands at 12-4.
