Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), saw McQueen's basketball squad hold off Reed by a score of 55-49.

With the victory, McQueen improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to North Valleys (Reno, NV) to battle the Panthers in a Northern - High Desert challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. North Valleys lost 76-52 in their recent league challenge against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)

Next up, the Raiders battle the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a Northern - High Desert challenge, on Saturday, January 8. Reed will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 66-46 league loss to Hug (Reno, NV).
