September 2, 2005: Traverse City, MI 49684 The Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) football beat the host St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI), 34-12 in Friday's non-league game.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Buena Vista (Saginaw, MI). The Knights enter the Freelance game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Buena Vista lost by Byron (Saginaw, MI), 48-12, in a non-league game.
The Gladiators now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Boyne City for a Lake Michigan game on Friday, September 9. St. Francis will meet a Ramblers team coming off a 28-12 non-league loss to Newberry (Boyne City, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 2-0.
