Was an excellent two sport athlete as he was a standout in football for the spartans. He was an Honorable Mention All-State player his senior year. He signed a Basketball scholarship with Auburn University. He later finished at Birmingham Southern.
Arguably the most decorated High School Basketball player to ever come out of Mountain Brook. He was named Alabama "Mr. Basketball" his senior season. Selected to First Team All-State team his senior year as well. Signed a Basketball Scholarship with Mississippi State.
6'4 Freak Athlete who led the Spartans to the 6A Final Four his senior season. Was a consistent Double-double guy night in and night out.
Led team to 2001 6A Final Four as a Junior. Selected to All-State team his senior year. Scored over 1,000 career points. Went on to play at Birmingham Southern as he was a 3 year starter at the Point.
Two-year starting Point Guard that led team to Area championships. "Mr. Big Shot" nailed two buzzer beaters in area games at Huffman. Was an All-Metro Player his senior year. Help lead team to Regional Finals and 28 win season.
Lusk was a high rising power forward that played above the rim often. He led the Spartans to the regionals back to back years. He was an All-Metro selection both years.
Houston was a 3-year starter that was a part of 05-06 regional finals team and 28 win season. He was an All-State selection his senior season and also played in the AHSAA North-South All-Star game. He signed a Basketball scholarship with VMI.
School's All-Time leading scorer with over 1400 career points. 4-year Varsity Starter for Coach Bucky McMillan. Led team to two Regional Appearances. 6A Honorable Mention All-State player as well as AHSAA North-South All-Star participant. Signed full-scholarship with East Tennessee State University and Coach Murry Bartow.
