MaxPreps Top 10 high school football Games of the Week

No. 1 Bishop Gorman and No. 14 IMG Academy play host to New Jersey powers; Gonzaga tests new Top 10 ranking against Good Counsel; father-son coaching rivalry renews in Illinois.

The latest edition of the MaxPreps Top 10 Games of the Week includes previews of top-ranked Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) hosting Big North United power Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.), while league rival Paramus Catholic (N.J.) visits No. 14 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.).

Collectively, that makes eight games this season for the Big North United members against Xcellent 25 teams from outside New Jersey.

Meanwhile, the only ranked team in this week's preview playing against a league opponent is No. 10 Gonzaga (Washington). The Eagles can create some breathing room for themselves in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference with a win over perennial power Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.).
