League recap: 6A Area 12's Homewood jumps in national rankings

6A Area 12 league recap: 5/21/12
After a week in which it went 2-0,
Homewood jumped from 1372 to 1190 in the
national rankings, the biggest increase in the league. The Patriots are currently No. 34 in the state of Alabama, with an overall record of 26-14.
Spain Park currently leads the league with a 37-16 record overall and a 6-0 mark during league play.
Vestavia Hills is three games back and in second place with a 3-3 league record.
