Adding to the longest winning streak in AAA District 6 this week, Rhea County beat East Hamilton 27-24. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Golden Eagles.

Rhea County and the Hurricanes played the closest game in the league this week, with Rhea County eventually emerging with a 27-24 victory.

Stone Memorial's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brady Wattenbarger has thrown for 1,223 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Brian Frye has 23 catches for 485 yards.

Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Stone Memorial's Frye goes up against Mark Pemberton's team's Bryce Keylon.

Next week's game between the Panthers and the Golden Eagles will feature a good passing match up as Wattenbarger will test his arm against Keylon's defensive ability.

One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Stone Memorial and Rhea County face off next week.

As it stands, the Golden Eagles are in first, while Mark Wattenbarger's team is in third.

There should be lots of points scored when Rhea County and the Panthers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Golden Eagles comes in having scored 333 this season, while Stone Memorial has scored 163. Rhea County scored 27 points last week as it beat East Hamilton.

The Golden Eagles made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,346 from 2,065. The advance stemmed from a 27-24 victory over the Hurricanes last week.
