Football Game Recap: Jarrell vs. Troy

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Troy and Jarrell. Everything came up roses for Troy against Jarrell on Friday as the squad secured a 45-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for Troy, who also won the last time these teams played.

Troy's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 27 first-half points. Jarrell countered with 2 points, leaving the score at 27-2 going into the half. Troy put the contest away in the third quarter with 12 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.

Troy will be playing at home against Little River Academy at at 7:30 PM next week. Little River Academy are cruising in on a three-game winning streak. As for Jarrell, they will face off against C.H. Yoe. Jarrell's defense better steel itself: C.H. Yoe are averaging 39.6 points per game.
