North Carolina High School Softball - Patton topped by Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Patton Panthers to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Draughn moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to clash with the Bears in a Northwestern Foothills 2A game on Friday, April 20. The Bears come into the game with a record of 7-5. Bunker Hill lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Foard (Newton, NC)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 18. Patton will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 4-11 record after their 11-3 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
