Sutter and Half Moon Bay face off this Saturday at 6:00 PM to determine whose season will come to a close. Sutter has been tearing up the end zone with big points in its last eight contests.
Sutter has netted another blowout to add to its collection (now totaling 11) after its most recent game. The final score between it and Anderson two weeks ago was a 55 - 0 blowout in Sutter's favor. Sutter especially relied on senior Drew Simard, who found the end zone on two runs and two receptions, and senior Trever Facey, who ran for 170 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. Facey's 90-yard rush in the second quarter especially got the fans up on their feet. Facey has been a consistent playmaker for Sutter as this was the 13th good game in a row from him. Meanwhile, Half Moon Bay had all the answers against Terra Nova last week, winning 41 - 9.
Their wins bumped Sutter to 12-1 and Half Moon Bay to 13-0. Half Moon Bay and Sutter have piled up the yardage in their recent games, so expect an explosive offensive competition when the two teams meet up this week.
