Harrisburg (5-0) and Chambersburg (0-5) are set to face off this Friday at 7:00 PM. With four consecutive blowout wins, Harrisburg is looking for someone to give it a good challenge; hopefully Chambersburg will step up.
Harrisburg can now show off four landslide victories after its game last week. The final score between it and Hershey last week was a 60 - 0 blowout in Harrisburg's favor. Harrisburg especially relied on senior Micah Parsons, who ran for 58 yards and also punched in three touchdowns, and sophomore Jahmir Plant, who earned one touchdown and 111 yards rushing the ball. Parsons has been a consistent playmaker for Harrisburg as this was the 5th good game in a row from him. Meanwhile, last week Chambersburg came up short against Central Dauphin East, falling 36 - 26.
The last time they met, Harrisburg really took it to Chambersburg, winning 61 - 10. Unfortunately for Chambersburg, another blowout is expected given the large disparity in their rankings. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harrisburg since the team will be on Chambersburg's home field this time. We'll soon find out whether that makes a difference or not.
