Mountain Valley recap October 1, 2013
Notre Dame moved up to 531 from 626 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain Valley. The Titans were able to move up by beating Aquinas 31-8.
Jurupa Hills took down Bloomington 39-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Damion Wright threw for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 131 yards during the win.
Paul Bradvica threw for 304 yards. He went 21-36 with 0 interception.
Jamie Taylor was a force in the backfield as Rim of the World beat Bishop.
Dakota Mai was the best receiver in the league this week as Notre Dame defeated the Falcons. Mai tallied 7 receptions for 86 yards. Daniel Baytosh helped Notre Dame's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 88 yards.
Peter Mc Gowan's team's Bradvica and Anthony McMaster led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bradvica has thrown for 1,379 yards this season, while McMaster, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 26 catches for 459 yards. The Fighting Scots' Taylor leads the league in rushing yards with 633.
Rim of the World led Mountain Valley in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Broncos. Taylor ran for 231 yards in the win.
