Trinity has won 15 consecutive games overall and four consecutive against out-of-state opponents.
Trinity quarterback
Travis Wright threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns to help lead the Shamrocks (4-0).
Junior wide receiver
James Quick had seven receptions for 106 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown reception to put Trinity ahead 14-0 in the fourth quarter.
Quick is approaching the school record for career receiving yards and will soon own the mark, according to Trinity.
St. X coach Steve Specht said earlier this week that Quick is among the best receivers in the country.
"He is a difference maker which makes it even more difficult to defend the entire field when you're focused on him," Specht said.

establishing himself as one of
the country's top receivers.
