Jared Sullinger, Northland
Northland High School
MaxPreps National Player of the Year candidates Jared Sullinger and Harrison Barnes were among 24 high school seniors selected for the McDonald’s All-American Game on Thursday.
Sullinger will be right at home in this year’s showcase as it takes place March 31 in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, at Value City Arena. The 6-foot-9, 240-pound Ohio State signee plays at Northland High School – No. 2 in this week’s MaxPreps Xcellent 25 – and will anchor the East squad in the All-American game.
Barnes is leading Ames High School through a historic run in Iowa. The Little Cyclones have won 43 games in a row and the 6-6 North Carolina signee is pouring in 27.3 points per game.
