Chris Lehman and Gage Harless provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Big Spring. The longest such play in Mid-Penn - Colonial this season, the connection resulted in 65 yards.
Greencastle-Antrim scaled the state rankings by moving to 334 from 402 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Blue Devils were able to move up by beating Northern York 20-13.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, West Perry's Lehman and Chase May have proven to be a lethal combination. Lehman has thrown for 515 yards this season, while May, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 30 catches for 353 yards. Ashtin Byers from Greencastle-Antrim leads the league in rushing with 143 yards.
An important game coming up in Mid-Penn - Colonial this week will be when James Buchanan takes on the Bulldogs. The Rockets are in fourth place, while Big Spring is in second place.
There should be lots of points scored when the Mustangs and Chuck Tinninis' team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, West Perry comes in having scored 54 this season, while the Blue Devils have scored 50. Al Ream's team scored 30 points last week as it beat Mike Berry's team.
Waynesboro fell to Gettysburg 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
