Neuqua Valley extended the longest winning streak in Upstate Eight - Valley this week by beating Bolingbrook, 44-33. The victory was the 11th in a row for the team.
Bartlett's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Aaron Everson has thrown for 15 yards and one touchdown this season, while Aaron Everson has three catches for 21 yards. Everson also leads the league in rushing with 1870 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Neuqua Valley and Waubonsie Valley. Bill Ellinghaus' team enters the game ranked second in the state, while the Warriors ranks seventh.
South Elgin made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,312 from 3,522.
