Cibola will take on West Mesa at home at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Cibola, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They were dealt a punishing 15-52 defeat at the hands of Cleveland. A silver lining for Cibola was the play of senior Marcus Steele, who passed for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Steele.
Meanwhile, West Mesa took a serious blow against Rio Rancho last Friday, falling 0-45. West Mesa were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Find out which team's record gets a tune-up and which team falls into a funk by watching the game and checking back on MaxPreps for the full scoop.
