South Miami are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Goleman on Friday at 4:00 PM. South Miami are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Everything went South Miami's way against Mourning last Friday as the team secured a 41-0 victory.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Mourning two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. Goleman had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 20-21 to Reagan.
South Miami's win lifted them to 2-2 while Goleman's loss dropped them down to 2-1. If South Miami want to win, South Miami will need to focus on stopping Goleman's junior Anthony Hernandez, who accumulated 165 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD, and junior Zachary Valcarcel, who caught passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see whether or not they are up to the challenge.
