Adding to the longest winning streak in South Shore - Small this week, Cohasset beat Nantucket 35-6. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Skippers.
Mashpee lost to Millis/Hopedale 39-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Devin McDaniel threw for 46 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 1 pass for 26 yards in the loss.
Cole Kissick provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Cohasset bested the Whalers. Kissick's favorite target this week was Jack Donohue, who caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Kissick was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 137 yards as Pete Afanasiw's team fell to the Mohawks. Ryan Gillis also contributed to the rushing game with 114 yards on the ground.
Cohasset's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Skippers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Chris Haggerty has thrown for 786 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Liam Burke has 13 catches for 315 yards.
Kissick of the the Skippers is only 50 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 87 carries Kissick has accumulated 950 yard this year.
Carver led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on Old Colony RVT.
