The Hornets lost in five sets to No. 3-ranked Berkeley Prep with the final set going to 22-20. Bishop Moore also picked up wins over previous No. 10 Chattahoochee (which has a win over Assumption this year) and a win over previously ranked Mercy (Louisville, Ky.). That was enough to put Bishop Moore into this week's rankings just ahead of Chattahoochee.
Chattahoochee didn't drop too far despite three losses. Besides losing to Bishop Moore, the Georgia team also fell to Berkeley Prep and Howell (St. Louis, Mo.). The win over Assumption earlier this season helps Chattahoochee hold on to the No. 24 spot.
The only other entrant in this week's rankings is Hillcrest (Simpsonville, S.C.), which is unbeaten and beat previous No. 18 Aiken twice at the Tournament of Champions in Dorman this week.
