Liberty and Kerman take on one another this Friday at 7:00 PM on Liberty's home turf. Liberty is currently on a five-game winning streak and looking to extend its dominance.
Liberty didn't have too much trouble with Washington Union in its last game, where Liberty won 35 - 20. No one had a larger role in the success than senior Christian Baker, who brought his A game into the contest. He ran for 152 yards and punched in two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Kerman claimed a 32 - 20 victory over Sierra last week. Junior quarterback Sean Chambers was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he ran for 177 yards and punched in two touchdowns). Chambers has been a consistent playmaker for Kerman as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
Their wins bumped Kerman and Liberty up to an identical 5-3. Kerman and Liberty can't both win again this week. We'll learn on Friday which team falters and which extends its success.
