Mt. View will challenge Summers County on the road at 7:30 PM on Thursday. If the match is anything like the 48-40 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Mt. View were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the contest and then some with a 55-14 win last week over Sheldon Clark. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.
Meanwhile, Summers County might be aching after a bruising 13-40 defeat to Shady Spring.
Mt. View's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Summers County's loss dropped them down to 0-3. In Mt. View's victory, junior Marqus Ray caught passes for 164 yards and 4 touchdowns and sophomore Jesse Rose passed for 213 yards and 5 touchdowns. We'll see if Summers County have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
