Samuell will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Richardson at 7:30 PM. Samuell is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Samuell had to kick off their season on the road last week, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Spruce as they made off with a 47-20 win. Samuell was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Richardson had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They suffered a grim 28-55 defeat to Nimitz. Richardson were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 14-41.
Samuell's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Richardson's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Samuell can add another positive mark to their record or if Richardson can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Samuell's step.
