The South Plantation Paladins will face off against the Fort Lauderdale Flying L at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Plantation is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
South Plantation is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Nova as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Paladins have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Plantation got a massive performance out of Victoria Vazquez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Vazquez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna DiLella, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.
South Plantation always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nova only posted an OBP of .100.
Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale earned an 11-6 victory over Cooper City on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flying L's.
Kylie Keenan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. Keenan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Fort Lauderdale let Jazette Dollar and Tannar Keenan run wild. Dollar went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Keenan went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Quinn McFadden, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
The win got South Plantation back to even at 11-11. As for Fort Lauderdale, their record is now 12-5.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. South Plantation has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Fort Lauderdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.9 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went South Plantation's way against Fort Lauderdale in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as South Plantation made off with an 18-1 victory.
