Archer (Lawrenceville, Ga.) endured a tough loss to
Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.) on Friday night, but in the process, it successfully pulled off a beautiful fake punt.
The long snapper snapped the ball directly to back up quarterback
Will Bearden, one of the blocking backs. Bearden avoided the rush in part by moving the ball behind his back as he sidestepped the rush.
He then brought the ball back to his right hand and completed a pass for a first down.
Archer ultimately fell 21-13 to Sandy Creek in a battle of two Georgia teams that will compete for state titles this fall.
