4A Region III District 21 recap October 8, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A Region III District 21 this week, Reagan beat Milby 56-20. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Jeff Davis was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to seventh in the league. The Panthers beat Lee 58-0 earlier in the week.
Reagan's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rondle Johnson Jr. threw for 123 and 1 touchdown and Malcolm LaFleur had 52 yards receiving. On the ground Tavon Dodd contributed 205 yards. Stephen Dixon Jr. helped Reagan's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 37 yards.

Dodd was a passing and rushing force as the Bulldogs topped Milby. Dodd's key target this week was LaFleur, who caught 5 passes for 52 yards.
Philip Camp's team's Camreyon Jackson and Everick Austin led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Jackson has thrown for 1,340 yards this season, while Austin has 25 catches for 433 yards. Reagan's Dodd leads the league in rushing yards with 637.
As it stands, the Bulldogs are in first, while Sharpstown is in fourth.
The Apollos scaled the state rankings by moving to 929 from 974 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region III District 21. Sharpstown climbed the ranks as a result of besting Wheatley 34-9.
