Raines added to the longest winning streak in 4A District 3 this week by beating Bradford, 58-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Vikings.
Raines took down the Tornadoes 58-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Marvin Zanders threw for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 76 yards in the win.
DERAN WILEY's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Zanders contributed 76 yards. Laquan Hill helped Raines' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 68 yards.
He was 12-19 with 0 interceptions.
Laquan Jackson was the best receiver in the league this week as the Vikings beat Bradford. Jackson racked up 2 receptions for 73 yards. Hill helped Raines' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 68 yards.
Raines' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Zanders has thrown for 1,740 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Tymeek Brown has 19 catches for 377 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Raines takes on second place Bolles. Raines topped Steve Reynolds' team last week, while Bolles defeated Keystone Heights.
The Vikings' Alex Gardner needs only 48 yards against the Bulldogs next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 169 carries Gardner has accumulated 952 yard this year.
Raines led 4A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on the Tornadoes. Zanders during the win.
