Video: Eli Apple High School HighlightsEli Apple may be the No. 3 cornerback prospect heading into the NFL Draft this week, but he offers one thing that the two players ranked ahead of him do not - size.
At 6-foot-1, the former Ohio State Buckeye ranks as one of the tallest cornerbacks available in the draft. In spite of his size, Apple does not lack for speed. He ranks No. 4 among all cornerbacks with a 40-yard dash time of 4.34 seconds.
For the Buckeyes, Apple earned second team All-Big Ten honors while making 33 tackles and defending eight passes with one interception.

Eastern (Voorhees, N.J.), Apple was known as Eli Woodard. He earned all-state honors as a defensive back, but was also a threat at receiver, where he caught 43 passes for 841 yards. Apple was ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 prospect coming out of New Jersey in the Class of 2013.
The latest CBS Sports mock draft boards have Apple going as high as 14th in the draft, with one expert predicting him going to the Oakland Raiders at that spot. Another expert says he will go 25th to the Steelers and another says 28th to the Chiefs. Two of the five have him after the first round.
