If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Edison. On Friday they take on McNair at 7:15 PM. McNair will need to watch out since Edison have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Edison put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their contest against Bear Creek by a conclusive 37-14 score. Edison found Edison's leader in underclassman freshman Raleek Brown, who rushed for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. Brown has been a consistent playmaker for Edison as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, McNair might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. They came out on top against Chavez by a score of 20-13.
Their wins bumped McNair to 4-3 and Edison to 5-2. In their victory, Edison relied heavily on freshman Raleek Brown, who rushed for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. McNair will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
