Sparta won the last time they faced Roxbury, and things went their way on Friday, too. Sparta steamrollered Roxbury 39-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Sparta had established a 25-0 advantage.
The win got Sparta back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped Roxbury's record to 0-1.
Sparta will be staying on the road next week, facing off against West Morris Central. As for Roxbury, they will face off against Parsippany Hills.
